Blanc de Blancs Vintage Extra Brut Prestige VDP from Battenfeld Spanier has a bright golden yellow color and long-lasting perlage. On the nose, the sparkling wine is very complex with delicate brioche notes followed by diverse notes of ripened exotic fruits such as honeydew melon and passion fruit as well as floral aromas of elderflower and acacia. On the palate, the wine has fine brioche notes and aromas of honeydew melon, vanilla and wild honey. It is creamy and very multi-faceted with a very well-integrated acidity and a long finish.

Vinification
Blanc de Blancs Vintage Extra Brut Prestige VDP from Battenfeld Spanier is prepared by traditional bottle fermentation. The Chardonnays grapes are harvested by hand. The first fermentation takes place spontaneously. The second fermentation in the bottle then lasts a full nine years.
