Tasting note
Deep ruby red On the nose, strong, smoky aromas of ripe blueberries and dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is firm and rich, showing an intense, sweet, dark berry character. Thanks to spicy acidity and spiciness, you notice very good energy. On the finish, a sweet blueberry note with supple tannins, a touch of smokiness and excellent length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with various desserts, including vermicelles, almond or walnut cakes, ice cream (particularly spicy flavors) and a wide selection of creamy and hard cheeses.
Vinification
Bellum El Remate is naturally fermented to 12%. Once fermentation is complete, the skins are distilled to produce a high-quality sweet wine that increases the total alcohol content of Bellum El Remate to 15.5%. The wine ages in French oak barrels for 30 - 48 months.
