About the wine

Le Tende, the small winery owned by the Fortuna and Lucillini families, is located very close to Lake Garda. Around 120,000 bottles are produced annually, the lion's share of which are Bardolino and Bianco di Custoza. Mauro Fortuna is responsible for production and he sees his major challenge in creating Bardolino wines that have more expression and depth than what is commonly on the market under this name. Fortuna is therefore focusing on the Corvina grape, the noblest of the red Verona varieties. His Bardolino, especially the Superiore, is always a bit more characterful and expressive than the vast majority of plants that come under this name.
