Tasting note
Barbera is Parma's reference grape variety. Brusata is the medieval name of Monte delle Vigne's sunniest vineyard. Facing west, this vineyard is exposed to the afternoon sun, i.e. “brusata” (sunburn). Barbera loves the strong sun and thus reaches optimal maturity. Great structure, enveloping, balanced, velvety and fruity with great freshness. Open and intense, with notes of red fruits and floral and spicy aromas.
Vinification
Careful hand harvesting. 30 days of maceration on the skins. Ageing for 12 months in stainless steel tanks.
