If you're looking for something special, don't miss out on this outstanding Nebbiolo 2020 — Barbaresco DOCG. The winemaker from the Italian winery Massolino has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and refinement are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the blooming and sunny countryside of Piedmont. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Nebbiolo with truffle risotto or prosciutto.
Tasting note
Garnet red color. On the nose, floral nuances and notes of red fruits. On the palate, full of polished tannins and a balanced acid structure.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with mushroom risotto, game and aged cheese.
Vinification
The soils in the Barbaresco region offer us a very special expression of the Nebbiolo grape. These vineyards provide the basis for delicate and elegant wines with exceptional finesse. Traditional Barbaresco, with medium fermentation and maceration in oak barrels at a temperature of around 30°C. Ageing in large Slavonian oak barrels for up to 18 months.
