About the wine
Sunny landscapes in Vinho Verde give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Quinta do Ameal conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. With the delicious Ameal Escolha DOP from 2017, you will positively surprise your friends.

Tasting note
Unique, complex aroma of citrus fruits, fresh peppermint and eucalyptus. Pleasantly dry with a lively acidity. The delicate minerals result in a fruity structure of yellow fruits such as apricots and quince.

Vinification
Manually harvested Loureiro grapes. Fermentation and maturation take place in French oak barrels. During this time, the wine is on the lees, and with regular battonage, the yeast is stirred up. This creates the typical soft, creamy aromas.
