About the wine
For decades, the Rancan family, owners of the vineyards in Tregnago, in the heart of Valpolicella, delivered their grapes to the local winegrowers' cooperative. It wasn't until 2007 that Renzo Rancan decided to process the grapes himself and founded the Cantina Ca' dei Conti, where he was able to hire Fabio Melotto as an oenologist. Even the first vintages showed the exceptional potential of the wines, and the Valpolicella Superiore “La Roara” in particular impressed with its incredible density and structure. This wine can be easily incorporated into an Amarone blind tasting and will always be at the forefront!

Tasting note
Ruby red color with purple reflections. Delicious bouquet with aromas of cherry, dried fruit, strawberries and subtle vanilla and cocoa notes. On the palate, Amarone Tano is full-bodied and elegant, with a nice complexity. Once again, nice fruit aromas, plus subtly spicy. The aftertaste is long-lasting and lively. A great Amarone.
