About the wine
We have a special, strong Shiraz for you, which many wine connoisseurs will love. With experience and instinct, the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Luís Vegas Louro masters this red wine in the sunny and picturesque Alentejo landscape. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this shiraz with roasted vegetables or game.
Tasting note
Garnet red. The fine tobacco note of the bouquet is overtaken by a beautiful elderberry and eucalyptus scent, which increases in depth. The body is strong, structured and focused on the pure cassis aroma. The strong finish is accompanied by a dark chocolate note.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with beef, grill and vegetables.
Vinification
The grapes are picked and destemmed by hand. Cold soaked for 2 days before fermentation and then fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel containers at 26/27 degrees. The aging takes place for one year in 50% new and used oak barrels.
