About the wine

Don Angelo Cetto came from Veneto (Italy) to Baja California in 1926 as an Italian immigrant. Coming from a family with a long wine tradition, he diligently used his knowledge to set up this unique winery in Mexico. In 1957, Vinicola L.A. Cetto was finally founded, which is exclusively dedicated to modern quality wines. L.A. Cetto was significantly involved in the development of modern viticulture in Mexico, and is one of the largest producers with around 1200 hectares in Baja California. Hugh Johnson, the author of the legendary wine atlas, also praised this winery by placing it at the forefront of quality wine producers in Mexico.
