About the wine
To get a feel for the hilly and mountainous landscape beauty in Lower Austria, there is no way around this white wine, which the Austrian winery Johannes Zillinger masters with a keen sense of texture. There is always something left over from Christmas dinner. Do you know that? Tasting note
The bouquet is light yellow fruits, lemons and limes, but also fully ripe yellow apple and smoky and stony notes. On the palate, the wine is complex, dense, powerful. Very fresh on the one hand, ripe with a fine melt on the other. Indescribably complex — and surprisingly, very clear and accessible at the same time. An enormously complex and fascinating wine from Johannes Zillinger.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with all hot starters with saltwater fish as well as veal goulash with white sauce.
