About the wine
Treat your guests at Easter dinner with this outstanding Pinot Blanc 2016 — Weissburgunder HENKENBERG GG. Sunny and fertile landscapes in Baden give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the German winery Salwey conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
In the hot 2016 vintage, our focus was on preserving the freshness and elegance of the wines and keeping the alcohol content within limits. We succeeded in doing this with the Weissburgunder HENKENBERG. It is racy, with an invigorating acid structure and citrus aromas. Due to the long storage on the yeast and bottling without filtration, it needs some time to mature in the bottle to develop its full aroma.
