About the wine
The white Vermentino grape experienced a boom all over the island in the 1960s. Harnessed early, it is used as a basis for fresh, crunchy sparkling wines. Processed at the optimal stage of maturation, it produces well-structured white wines with pleasant mineral notes.
Tasting note
The grapes come from the municipality of Marrubio in Alto Campidano, in the west of the island. Brilliant, medium-intensity straw yellow. Intense bouquet, subtly mineral with notes of Mediterranean maquis. Multi-faceted on the palate with good fullness but without losing freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with aperitifs and light dishes.
