About the wine
With the strong Pinot Noir 2016 — Volnay AOC, nuances and accents are redefined. The slanted, gravelly soils in Burgundy offer the winemaker from the French winery Moillard-Grivot everything he needs to live out his craft and produce a wine for discerning connoisseurs. Tasting note
Color: Medium cherry red with sparkling rose gold reflections, colortight. Aromatics: Delicious, compote-like nuances, griots, fine, herbal-spicy touch of anise, floral notes of violets, growing notes of licorice, smoke and cedar. Body: Long debut with a dense, distinctive palate, beautiful aromas, medium-bodied body, slightly drying tannins on the finish. Quality: Classic, strong aroma.

Goes well with game specialties, veal shanks, “Züri-Geschnetzeltes”, ripe Brie.
