About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Luigi Bigi has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the beautiful and fertile Umbrian countryside. You will certainly enjoy the fine Vipra Rossa IGT, which was produced in 2016.

Tasting note
Ripe fruit aromas, reminiscent of plum, prune and cherry jam, are combined with roasted aromas and caramel notes, which, together with hints of sweet spices, leave an intense, exciting impression on the nose. A velvety soft body with fine fruitiness appears later on. On the finish, this red wine is refreshing and velvety.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with mushroom ragout, pizza, risotto, lasagna, braised beef roast, brasato, beef goulash.

Aged in barriques for a few months
