About the wine
Blooming and fertile Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Poderi Boscarelli conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. With this provocative Merlot 2012 — Vino Nobile Riserva Bianca Montepulciano DOCG, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Merlot with slightly spicy red meat or poultry.
Tasting note
The Vino Nobile has an intense purple red with slight pomegranate notes. Very fruity bouquet with aromas of red berries, currants, cherries and light coffee and spice notes. A juicy, robust wine of great elegance and crisp freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Goes well with slightly spicy red meat, duck and poultry.
Vinification
The traditional mash fermentation takes place in steel tanks for 7 days at a temperature of between 28 and 30 °C. The aging takes place in 350 to 2000 liter Slovenian or French oak barrels for 18 to 24 months.
