About the wine

Tasting note
The Klosteranger appears in deep garnet red and seduces with a bouquet of concentrated aromas. It is surprisingly lively and fruity on the nose with notes of coffee and black berries as well as a hint of raspberries. On the palate, it impresses with grippy tannins, fresh acidity, delicate and elegant fullness and depth. This single-layer Lagrein is wonderfully complex, long-lasting and pampers the palate with a multi-layered structure.
Culinary recommendation
It is best served at a good temperature with braised game dishes, tender-fried beef or spicy cheese dishes.
Vinification
After fermentation and acid degradation in stainless steel, the aging takes place in new barrique barrels for 19 months followed by harmonization in steel tanks.
