About the wine
With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Spanish winery Yllera masters this white wine in the beautiful and picturesque landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). A must for connoisseurs, this strong white wine 2016 — Verdejo Rueda DO! The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this verdejo with vegetable rice or fish dishes.

Tasting note
In the glass, a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. It smells of tropical fruits such as mango and passion fruit, lemongrass and fennel seeds. Aromatic on the palate with fresh acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with light dishes, paella, seafood, cheese, veal and aperitif.
Vinification
The grapes for Yllera Verdejo are harvested at night to maintain freshness. The juice from the first press is cold macerated for eight to twelve hours. The alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 17°C in stainless steel tanks.
