About the wine

The Vega Demara winery is located in La Solana, not far from the city of Ciudad Real. In the middle of the D.O. La Mancha wine region. With 190,000 hectares of vineyards, La Mancha is the largest contiguous wine-growing region in the world. More than 300 wineries produce around 100 million liters of wine annually. In profitable years, Mancha accounts for almost half of all Spanish wine production. Bodegas Vega Demara owns 86 hectares of vines. Cencibel (Tempranillo) and Verdejo are mainly grown.
