About the wine
Christmas 2021 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this distinctive Merlot 2017 — Venezia Giulia IGT Podere Dei Blumeri! The fertile and blooming landscapes of Friuli give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Schiopetto conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Merlot with slightly spicy red meat or poultry.
Tasting note
Elegant and fruity bouquet with notes of blackberries and cherries. Balsamic and black olives add complexity to the wine. The palate is full-bodied and complex with an elegant freshness and a long finish.

Vinification
Separate vinification of grapes. Fermentation in wooden barrels lasts 10-12 days at 25°C. Ageing: 18 months in barriques and 500 liter oak barrels.
