About the wine
Christmas 2021 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this powerful Chardonnay 2019 — Venezia Giulia IGT Bianco Magis Magis. The winemaker from the Italian winery Magis has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the flourishing and fertile Friuli landscape. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Chardonnay with poultry or truffles.
Tasting note
A bright and intense straw yellow, interspersed with elegant golden shades. The nose is caressed by aromas of yellow fruit and citrus nuances, complemented by the scent of spring flowers, subtle spices and a touch of minerality. On the palate, the taste is full and rich, accompanied by a sparkling freshness and a distinct spiciness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aged San Daniele ham, omelette, risotto, seafood pasta and sophisticated fish dishes.
Vinification
The three grapes were harvested by hand at different times at optimal ripeness and aged separately, partly in wooden barrels and partly in steel tanks. After 12 months on yeast, with regular batonnage, the assemblage took place in October 2020.
