Tasting note
Medium ruby red. Intense bouquet of black cherries and ripe berries, accompanied by subtle balsamic, spicy notes. On the palate, it is soft, fine and balanced. Fruity, medium-weight body with harmoniously integrated acidity and tannins. Intensive aftertaste.
Vinification
Pressed using the classic Ripasso process. Amarone grape pomace is added to the already fermented Valpolicella, which causes renewed fermentation. This gives the wine more color intensity, alcohol, body, and the typical taste nuances of an Amarone.
