About the wine
With the delicious Vaio Armaron Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOC from 2011, you will positively surprise your friends. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Serègo Alighieri masters this red wine in the fertile and enchanting countryside in Veneto.
Tasting note
Concentrated ruby red Intense bouquet, scented of fully ripe plums, dark berries, raisins and cocoa. Mouth-filling finish with lots of melting, the alcohol content is perfectly integrated into the fruit aromas. Powerful body with silky tannins. An almost endless finale, which delights again with every sip.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect for a banquet with game — or for good conversations afterwards.
Vinification
The grapes are dried and only gently pressed in January and fermented on the mash. Traditionally, the wine is then aged for four to five years in 6 to 20 hl cherry wood barrels and then in the bottle for at least six months.
