About the wine

Elegance and an unmistakable character characterize the wines from the certified organic Barth winery in Hattenheim. As a certified VDP winery, the family business from the Rheingau produces outstanding wines. The name Barth is also known for its excellent sparkling wines, which are produced using the traditional bottle fermentation method. The young winemaker couple Mark & Christine Barth bring a breath of fresh air through their experience abroad. Since it was founded in 1948, the winegrowing family, which runs the winery in the 3rd and 4th generations, has expanded the premises several times and improved the potential of the vineyards. Production has also been constantly modernized, which has resulted in enormous quality improvements in recent years. Organic farming with lots of manual work — in the vineyard, Barth works with high standards.

Tasting note
The Barth ultra Pinot — brut nature — from the Barth wine and sparkling wine has a white shade in the glass and seduces with its fruity and berry bouquet. This sparkling wine from the Rheingau is a great Burgundy sparkling wine that is wonderfully racy and has a distinctive fruit on the palate. An exceptional sparkling wine, even for connoisseurs.

Vinification
The grapes were exclusively picked selectively by hand and vinified after the most gentle pressing. Traditional bottle fermentation, three years of yeast aging.
