About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Malhadinha Nova masters this red wine in the sunny and picturesque landscape of the Alentejo. With the special Touriga Nacional da Peceguina V R Alentejano from 2015, you will positively surprise your friends.
Tasting note
Rich ruby red color. Nose with finesse: dried plums and cassis liqueur, accompanied by the fine smoke and salt notes. The body is immediate and compact for a wine of this variety. Noticeably pleasant tannins and strong acidity are subject to the delicate chocolate taste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Asian cuisine, beef and Mediterranean cuisine.
Vinification
Mashed with the feet in small lagares, fermentation at a controlled temperature. Aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
