Tasting note
Dark, almost impenetrable ruby red. The Turpino - Querciabella's top wine from Maremma is elegant yet very expressive. The nose is dominated by aromas of black cherry, plum, mocha, spices and licorice. Wonderfully balanced on the palate with aromas of pepper, tobacco and Mediterranean herbs. Mouth-filling, round and soft with a long-lasting finish.

Vinification
The three grape varieties are picked by hand and then individually aged in French barriques for 16 months. The proportion of new timber is 20%. The grape varieties are then blended in cement tanks before the finished wine is left in the bottle for another year and then released on the market.
