About the wine
This dominant Shiraz 2014 — Topside Syrah is, in the truest sense of the word, a hit right down to the last drop! The winemaker from the South African winery Keermont masteres this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the fertile and sunny landscape of the Coastal region. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you offer this Shiraz with game or barbecue.

Tasting note
Rich ruby red — complex bouquet with notes of dark berries, ripe cherries, rose petals and white pepper. The start on the palate is juicy and characterized by crunchy tannins, which provide an excellent framework for the expansive fruit and the herbaceous and peppery tones. The enormously complex overall package finally results in a long finish, in which acidity, tannins and ripe fruit aromas are perfectly balanced.
Culinary recommendation
Unsere Empfehlung: Die perfekte Trinktemperatur für den Rotwein liegt bei leicht gekühlten 16°-18°C. Der Wein sollte in diesem Zeitraum genossen werden: Jetzt bis 2032. Zu Wild, geröstetem Gemüse und Barbecue empfehlen Ihnen die Flaschenpöstler diesen Topside Syrah.
Vinification
Angaben über Vinifizierung: Alle Trauben die verarbeitet wurden kommen von der Farm selbst. Umsichtig wurden sie nach und nach zum pefekten Reifezeitpunkt von Hand geerntet und separat vinifiziert. Die Fermentation fand in der traditionellen Methode in offenen Fermentern statt. 22 Monate reifet der Wein in französischem Holz, bevor er ungefiltert auf die Flasche gefüllt wurde.
