About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Labastida has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and enchanting landscape of the Upper Ebro. With the fresh Tempranillo 2013 — Tierra Crianza DOCa, you can offer your family and friends something very special. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this tempranillo with pizza or barbecue.
Tasting note
This ruby-red Rioja impresses with its strong aromas of red berries, fruit compote and some soft cherry underpinned by light accents of resin and precious wood. On the palate, it appears juicy with a pleasant freshness, lots of fruit and velvety tannins. A very elegant and fruity Rioja for the best hours of the year.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with stews, meat dishes of all kinds, barbecues.
Vinification
The grapes for Tierra Crianza are harvested by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks before malolactic fermentation is carried out partly in cement tanks and partly in oak barrels. It is then aged for 14 months in barriques of various origins.
