Tasting note
Light golden yellow - fresh, very clean nose with fruity notes of citrus, apples and pears. Extremely straight and precise on the palate too, the expressive elgin fruit is complemented by a slight minerality. This white wine is aged in used 500 liter oak barrels from Burgundy, which, however, are not “toasted” and therefore do not give the wine any roasted aromas that are otherwise typical of barrique Chardonnays.

Der Wein sollte in diesem Zeitraum genossen werden: Jetzt bis 2028. Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: The Valley Chardonnay passt hervorragend zu Weichkäse, Fisch mit Kräutern und Geflügel.
