Can Ràfols dels Caus is undoubtedly one of the most dynamic wineries in the Penedès region. Carlos Estevan took over the estate in the 1970s and since then has steadily expanded to 50 ha and countless local and exotic grape varieties. Carlos conjures up fantastic and unique wines year after year from his almost unmanageable wine kingdom with mostly very small plots of land. Lively and vibrant wines, dervishes and belly dancing, wild herbs, and juicy fruits, and always plenty of chalky minerality.
