About the wine
The wine-growing regions of the Spanish winery Lafou Celler extend across the landscapes where the experienced winemaker produces this red wine. With the fine Terra Alta DO Lafou de Batea from 2009, you will positively surprise your friends.

Tasting note
The Lafou de Batea captures the essence of Terra Alta. On the nose, it develops a bouquet of complex aromas of ripe red fruits such as strawberries and red cherries, accompanied by subtle spicy notes reminiscent of pepper. On the palate, it has an impressive structure and a harmonious balance between fruit, acidity and tannins. The fruit aromas continue and are supported by subtle nuances of undergrowth (forest soil). The aftertaste is long-lasting and seductive.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with mushroom starters, beef, soft cheese and lamb barbecues.
Vinification
Pressed in 300 liter oak and concrete egg barrels for 12 months
