About the wine
With this present red wine 2021 — Tempranillo, the term taste takes on a new meaning. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Spanish winery Viña Zorzal masters this red wine in the picturesque landscape of the Upper Ebro. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Tempranillo with pizza or lasagna.
Tasting note
The “straight” Tempranillo impresses with intense aromas of red fruits such as red cherry, strawberry, but also black pepper and notes. The soft tannins create a medium body with mineral notes and a nice finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with charcuterie, grill BBQ and hard cheese.
Vinification
The grapes were harvested by hand when they had reached optimal ripeness in each individual vineyard. They were harvested in small crates and transported to the winery. The fermentation temperatures were between 24º and 26ºC to improve the character of
