About the wine
The company was founded in 2004 by Jorge Ordoñez and Rafael Cañizares. When Spanish wines all over the world only thought of a few Rioja wines before this time, these two visionaries set about recultivating old abandoned vineyards in previously unknown growing areas. The seal of quality of this winery is the traditional winemaking craft. Bodegas Volver currently produces wines under the umbrella of the DO Jumilla, DO Castilla la Mancha and DO Alicante wine regions.
Tasting note
The bouquet is full of acacia blossom, deep spice and red fruits. Powerful and full-bodied on the palate with a velvety tannin structure and a tempting structure. Impressive with aromas of blue and black fruits. Mineral finish with good length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef with dark sauces and curries.
