About the wine

The Stodden family in the Ahr Valley has been committed to viticulture since 1578. Doing everything in harmony with nature to perfect wine is the family's philosophy. Even when pruning, we work towards the goal of quality rather than mass. If the vine still produces too much fruit, additional green grapes are cut out in summer. Late manual harvesting and strict sorting are just as natural as careful processing of the grapes, which are completed in oak barrels and barriques.
