About the wine
Frans Malan, died in 2003, vinified his first sweet late harvest wine in 1979. The handpicking was carried out in two rounds. The 275 hectare Simonsig Estate is located north-west of Stellenbosch, South Africa's famous first-class wine-growing region. Simonsig's wine tradition dates back to 1953 with wine pioneer Frans Malan. Today, the three sons Johan, François and Pieter run the winery.

Tasting note
Rich golden yellow. Intense, exotic fruit notes, reminiscent of nuts and honey, dried apricots and caramel. Discreet use of French barriques.
Culinary recommendation
This wine is often served with dessert as the end of a meal. But it is also very suitable for yourself.
