Everything unnecessary is avoided in the cellar and the wines are fermented with their own wild yeasts, which stick to the grapes and float in the air of the cellar - the perfect grapes and the spontaneous fermentation of the wild yeasts produce new wines every year that perfectly reflect the Keuperböden and the work in the vineyards. The collection of the Weigand winery in Iphofen is divided into three divisions: The estate wines are called “The Wild” and are fermented spontaneously. The wines with the label “The Hero” represent the highest quality of the Weigand winery: these are Silvaner wines with an extremely high extract, made from the half-piece.
