About the wine
Picturesque landscapes of the Upper Ebro give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Viña Zorzal conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. This provocative Grenache 2020 — Señora de las Alturas crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This grenache can be served very well with red meat or spicy dishes.
Tasting note
The Garnacha Señora de las Alturas has a clear garnet red color. Aromas of bright red fruits and a beautiful world of spices captivate the nose. Thanks to a full body with a nice fruity aroma, the Garnacha is long-lasting on the palate.

Vinification
Hand picking of the best grapes in 15 kg boxes. Alcoholic fermentation with local yeasts in two 500-liter barrels from French oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation and maturation for 15 months in two year old 500-liter French oak barrels. Gentle clarification and filtration, without stabilization.
