About the wine
Graceful and picturesque landscapes of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon) give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Arrocal conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. If you want to surprise a wine connoisseur, then with this fresh Tempranillo 2020 — Selección Especial DO! The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you serve this Tempranillo with red meat or lasagna.
Tasting note
Intense ruby red color, complex and aromatic nose of ripe dark fruits, vanilla, rosemary and thyme. Powerful palate with very good structure and soft tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler recommend this Selección Especial DO for pizza, barbecue and polenta.
Vinification
Aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels and a further twelve months in bottle.
