About the wine
Give yourself a treat for the senses with the delicious Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru "Aux Clos" from 2014! The gritty, sloping soils in Burgundy offer the winemaker from the French winery Domaine d'Ardhuy everything he needs to live out his craft and produce a wine for discerning connoisseurs.
Tasting note
Garnet red with a fine rose gold shimmer, fine hem. Fine, ripe fruit with a touch of orange zest and a delicate smoky and roasted note, leather, tobacco, floral, earthy. Long debut, present and strong on the palate, good structure, warming. Quality: Elegant, fine Pinot Noir, very typical.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with venison medallion, wild fowl and duck breast à l'orange.
Vinification
12-14 months barrique.
