About the wine
The fertile and blooming Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Tenute Piccini conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Treat yourself and your guests to the senses with the fine Sasso al Poggio I.G.T. from 2012!
Tasting note
A Supertuscan that honors its place of origin; hilly Tuscany, known for its clay soil and rugged rocks, because the name “Sasso al Poggio” means “stone on the hill.” On the nose, notes of black cherries, licorice, forest soil, minerals and vanilla oak. Deep and rich on the palate with juicy fruit, well-integrated tannins and a complex, long-lasting finish.

Game and aged cheese.
