About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Antinori has absolutely mastered his craft. Tasting note
For fans of the more mature Montepulciano, the “Santa Pia” is a safe bet. Beautifully complex aromas with tobacco, cedarwood, licorice, leather and dried flowers. Full and voluminous, but well balanced with fresh acidity and solid tannin and therefore not clumsy. Lingering for a very long time with nice, ripe notes.

Vinification
From a special, selected 15-hectare plot of land called “Santa Pia” on the estate. Fermentation in steel tanks, aging in 500 liter wooden barrels.
