About the wine
This Chardonnay draws its strength and energy from the clayey, shale soils in Burgundy. The winemaker from the French winery Remoissenet Père & fils transforms it into a real treat with great emotion. This dominant Chardonnay 2018 — Saint-Romain crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Chardonnay can be served very well with poultry or asparagus.
Tasting note
The Saint-Romain shows buttery, citrusy notes on the nose as well as light roasted aromas. The palate is well-balanced, with aromas of green apple, mirabelle and toasted toast on the finish. Its abundance and lively freshness make it the perfect food companion.
