About the wine
Fertile and blooming Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Poderi Boscarelli conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. This provocative Merlot 2015 — Rosso de Ferrari IGT crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Merlot with duck or slightly spicy red meat.
Tasting note
The Rosso de Ferrari has an intense ruby red color. The nose is dominated by cherry aromas and the scent of forest fruits. On the palate, it impresses with its wonderful freshness and juiciness - the perfect everyday wine.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Goes well with slightly spicy red meat, poultry and duck.
Vinification
Classic mash fermentation for 7 days at a temperature between 25 and 28°C in a steel tank. The grapes then mature for 6 to 9 months in large wooden barrels and steel tanks.
