If you're looking for something special, then you can't miss out on this distinctive red wine 2013 — Roncaia Riserva Merlot del Ticino DOC. You can describe the Ticino landscape with words such as hilly or mountainous. However, the Swiss winery Luigi Zanini - Vinattieri is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this red wine. Tasting note
Little by little, different sides of this Merlot from Tessin are becoming apparent: While the focus is initially on richness and the typical aroma of the variety, it soon impresses with its melting and lots of ripe fruit. And finally, there are juicy tannins, a fresh, fruity acid structure and a distinctive spiciness. Take your time to enjoy the potential and complexity of this Merlot plant from Switzerland!

Goes well with polenta, potato gratin, rabbit ragout, lamb rack, ravioli with herb filling, ravioli with ricotta filling

Aged for a few months partly in traditional, large oak barrels and partly in barrique (French oak)
