About the wine
Treat your family and friends at Christmas dinner with this present Tempranillo 2016 — Rioja Tinto DOCa. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Spanish winery Condes de los Andes masters this red wine in the enchanting and picturesque landscape of the Upper Ebro. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Tempranillo with red meat or barbecue.
Tasting note
Intense cherry red color. On the nose, fruity aromas of ripe plums. Very structured and fresh on the palate. A pleasant and persistent aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with pasta, rice dishes, Spanish sausages, grilled meats and stews.
Vinification
After harvesting, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks for three weeks. This Tempranillo is then aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, half of which are new barrels. Before it goes on sale, it refines in the bottle for 12 months.
