About the wine
With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Proelio masters this red wine in the fertile and picturesque landscape of the Upper Ebro. With this fresh Tempranillo 2016 — Rioja Reserva DOCa, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This tempranillo can be served very well with pizza or lasagna.
Tasting note
Deep purple with ruby reflections. Complex nose with aromas of dried plums, cinnamon cherries, berries and fine tobacco spice. On the palate, notes of chocolate cherries and dark fruits. Dense texture and round tannins typical of Tempranillo.
