About the wine
The Schönleber family has been growing wine for 250 years and cultivates the vines in Monzing's prime locations with passion and commitment. Their wines reflect the exceptional terroir and are therefore particularly characterful.
Tasting note
Light lemon yellow, very nice aromas of red apples, pears, ripe quinces and citrus fruits on the nose. Fresh on the palate with a juicy mouthfeel and a persistent mineral-salty finish.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Riesling Trocken passt perfekt zu Crevetten, indischer Küche und asiatischem Essen.
Vinification
After gentle pressing, the manually harvested grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and bottled after brief storage in spring.
