About the wine
Sunny and picturesque landscapes of the Rhine Valley give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the German Weingut Bischel conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. If you want to surprise a wine connoisseur, then with this outstanding white wine 2016 — Riesling trocken Qualitatswein! Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Riesling with shrimps or mushrooms.
Tasting note
This Gutsriesling is animatingly fresh with juicy aromas of apple, apricot, peach, grapefruit and a little yeast. The perfectly integrated acidity, some melting and the slight minerality make the wine shine at its best. A very tasty, easy-to-drink wine with a great price/pleasure ratio and an enchanting and finesse finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, light Far Eastern dishes, spicy dishes, asparagus and white poultry.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested very selectively and rather late before they are aged in steel tanks after gentle pressing and controlled spontaneous fermentation with long contact with fine yeast.
