Precise, clear, straightforward, delicate and lively — these are the wines from Leo Alzinger. Manual work and steep slope winegrowing on barren soils determine the work at the winery that Leo Junior took over from his father. The aim of both is to stylistically satisfy every vineyard and each of their wines. The Loibenberg location faces south. Riesling grows on poor and shallow soils. Great, complex bouquet, exotic fruit notes, vineyard peaches, gorse, wonderfully mineral-rich. Delicately creamy, firm start on the palate, powerful, sparkling, vibrant and with a fantastic acid structure. Riesling at its best.
