About the wine
The Grans Fassian winery was founded in 1624 by the Grans and Fassian families in Leiwen on the Moselle, the oldest German wine region, and has long been one of the absolute top German wine producers. In 1982, the passionate winemaker Gerhard Grans took over the business from his father Matthias and expanded the vineyard area from then 4 hectares to 13 hectares. With his tireless desire for greater precision and refinement, he turned Grans-Fassian into a top company, which has received prestigious awards from year to year.
Tasting note
Fresh nose of red apples, pears and lemons plus exotic fruits such as pineapple and mango. On the palate, the Riesling is dry with a delicate residual sweetness and a slightly fresh, light body. Wonderfully juicy on the aftertaste with good drinking flow.

Vinification
After manual harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in a temperature-controlled stainless steel tank at around 15 degrees.
