About the wine

The Weingut Werner is located in Leiwen on the Mosel, home to one of the most important white wine vines. The Riesling grows there in steep slopes on mineral slate soils, which creates the unmistakable character of these wines. Bernhard Werner's credo is closeness to nature. He cultivates his vineyards completely without artificial fertilisers. He is also a member of the Association of Young Winemakers in Leiwen, which have successfully implemented their vision of producing only high-quality wines.
